The Lightning Athletics Annual Meat Sale Fundraiser is Back!

BBQ season is here — and so is your chance to stock up on premium, delicious meats and support the incredible student-athletes representing St. Mary’s University!

We’re excited to launch this year’s fundraiser running from May 21st to June 2nd, with order pickup scheduled for June 19th, 3:00 PM at the St. Mary’s Campus Water Tower.

Due to rising costs across the board, you may notice some price increases this year. Like many, we’re feeling the impact of inflation — but every order placed still delivers great value and, more importantly, makes a direct impact.

This isn’t just about meat — it’s about momentum.

All proceeds from the sale go directly to our Lightning athletics programs, helping fund exhibition games, team gear, and vital operating expenses. This support has been a game-changer: as one of the smallest schools in Alberta, we’ve consistently punched above our weight, earning remarkable results and growing stronger every season. That success? It starts with you.
